Mum marries her own daughter

A Mom and her 25-12 months-outdated daughter have been accused of getting an incestuous marriage.

Patricia Spann, forty three, and her daughter Misty Spann were married in Comanche County in Oklahoma in March., court documents point out.

The mother, from the city of Duncan, had earlier married her son Jody in 2008. He filed for an annulment 15 months later citing “incest”.

An investigation by the county’s Section of Human Services identified the illegal connection previous month while investigating the welfare of children who have been residing in Patricia Spanns’ property order wine online.

Misty and her two brothers have been elevated by a grandparent when Patricia misplaced custody of them, an arrest affidavit states, KFOR described.

A DHS investigator advised authorities that Patricia and Misty reunited two years ago and Patricia Spann stated that she did not feel she was breaking any regulations by marrying Misty as her name is not shown on her daughter’s start certification. She hoped that they would adopt a kid.

Marrying a shut relative is considered incest in Oklahoma, no matter of whether or not or not a sexual relationship exists.

An arrest warrant for the mother and daughter was issued on Friday and they ended up arrested and charged with incest and taken into custody at Stephens County Jail soon after showing prior to Stephens County district courtroom places to buy wine. Bail was established at $10,000 for mom and for daughter.

If found responsible they could face up to 10 many years in jail.

Patricia Spann’s son Cody advised KSWO that her mom was a predator.

“I think she’s worthless she place my sister into this. She forced my sister into this, there’s a whole lot of individuals that know it. For you to want to place your personal daughter through this, what kind of particular person are you?

“If that’s what you want that’s on you, but none of us youngsters want that, and now you received my sister driving bars because of your alternatives, why don’t you let that sit on you as a mom (sic).”
