Barbera d'Asti 2014, Costalunga, Bersano, Italy red, $16.60, SAQ # 506824. Quite fresh, with just a faint contact of oak. This is vintage barbera, constructed along freshness and minerality as opposed to oak and a richer texture. So juicy — like biting into a completely ripe crimson berry. Traditional desk wine at a wonderful cost, and made for tomato sauce. Residual sugar: 2.four g/L. Provide at: fifteen C. Drink now-2017. Foodstuff pairing thought: apéritif, spaghetti with tomato sauce.
$eighteen-$23: Mid-priced marvel
Sauvignon Blanc 2015, Klein Constantia, South Africa white, $twenty, SAQ # 12399881 buy red wine. A single of the much more intriguing sauvignon blancs on the marketplace. Smells and tastes extremely ripe, as it leans towards tropical fruit notes. The complete is textured and cozy, with even a lot more fruit alongside a pine-pushed inexperienced note. Salty mineral complete as well. Very intricate, but easy to consume. Residual sugar: 1.three g/L. Serve at: eight-10 C. Drink now-2018. Fixin 2014, Jean-Claude Boisset, France crimson, $forty six.75, SAQ # 12987421. Fixin is a lesser-known Burgundy appellation, but should never be discounted buy red wine online. This is stunning pinot: floral, earthy and with lively fruit that finishes so suave and silky. Great ripeness here, however shows only 12.five for every cent liquor. This has excellent balance and is currently drinking extremely well. Want a Burgundy that has course with no you ready for it to produce? This is your wine. Residual sugar: n/a. Serve at: sixteen C. Consume now-2019. Foodstuff pairing idea: apéritif, pheasant or other wild fowl.
